Check this out. I bought one of these 2 weeks ago and it puts everything I've seen in a lift to shame. It is built a lot sturdier than the Mojact or it's equivilent in a bottle jack lift. It has safety catches so you can let the mower down against them and it is stronger side to side. The cost with the T-Handle and shipping came to about $268.00 but it is built that much stronger than the rest. I've been impressed so far. Good Luck! J&S Jacks. Just Google them to find their information.
The difference between Tractor Supply and J&S Jacks Turf Buddy is that J&S is rated at 800 lbs and Tractor Supplies is rated at 300 lbs but even more is the side stbility difference. Lets just say that I looked at TS first and bought the J&S after much delliberation. Glad I did.
Besides Mojack and Prolift, Ohio Steel has a zero turn lift that has a capacity of 1200 lbs. Lifting a zero turn of this weight would be difficult, but most zero turn mowers come in around half that weight, so I think of it as extra security. Just another option out there that you may not have considered.
Have you tried the Jungle Jim's Mower Jack? Very easy to use! You can lift from any angle, and up to 800 lbs. Reasonably priced, $189 online with free shipping!

I always use a com-a-long from the beam in my shed with a nylon strap around the front wheels to lift mine. It raises it up till the skid pan hits the ground and you can work from the front or either side with nothing in the way. Can change blades in just a few minutes.

I use a 1/2 Ton Chain Block from Harbor Fright ( 39 Bucks ) and a couple Straps to Lift my Mowers, it fast and nothing in the way on the floor, I have a Impact & can swap out blade in 2 shacks, those of you that have to change your blade on the run, i can under stand why you would want one of the other kind of Lifts

My ZD 326 has a lift built in on the front end of the mower. I am looking forward to seeing how good it works.
