B bertsmobile1 Lawn Royalty Joined Nov 29, 2014 Messages 24,995 Jul 24, 2017 #2 The fix is to replace it. Prevention is keeping the engine clean so it cools properly checking the valve lash keeping the carb clean so the float shuts the fuel off.
