Z Force Zero Turn Mower Dies

I have a Cub Cadet Z Force 44 Briggs 20HP (53AA5A6L710) that will idle fine. When I push the handlebars forward, it usually tries to die unless I bring the bars back to neutral. I replaced both magnetos last fall with no change in performance. Any suggestions on what is causing this?

The parking brake sensors assumes it is still on so shuts down the engine to prevent damage to the parking brake
IF you have a stand alone brake ever it will be on the end of that
If automatic brakes it will be on the end of the lap bars .

I will take a look at this, but I think it may be something else. This is a problem that got progressively worse. At first, I could alleviate the issue by reducing the throttle off of full power. Now throttle position does not seem to improve engine performance.

If the engine dies like you have turned it off then it will be electrical
If it sort of peters out then it could be a bad cylinder

Yuck. Neither one of those sound like easy repairs...especially the cylinder.

You won't know till you look
You could have a bad diode on the kill wires , so a 5 minute job
You could have excessive valve lash a 10 minute job
the longest & hardst thing to do is find the problem
It could be nothing more the crud rolling around in the petrol tank

Long delay, but the problem turned out to be a bad voltage regulator. I was getting 12 volts at the battery. Changed the regulator and started getting 14 volts, and no more dead mower!
