Wrapping up the season

This weekend I did my last cut of the season on some of the lawns. The others I am doing one more time at the end of the month. Leaves are mostly down, and with this cold weather the grass isn't growing. Below are pics of the final cut on one lawn and a before/after leaf cleanup & mowing job. You can see in the first picture that a few leaves blew into the yard after it was cut. :frown:

I had to blow the leaves out of the mulchbeds (as best as I could) for this one). The leaves were like a foot deep in the mulch!

You can buy some add-ons which turn the 255LN into a vac, but apparently you have to change the fan or something, which makes it a lot louder, and the quiet operation was one of the things I liked about it. Echo sells 2 models of the Shred-and-Vac, one with the same engine as the blower I have, which is what my blower would turn in to if I did the conversion.

Yeah but if you got 2 units you could do clean ups faster if you pick up the leaves out of the garden instead of blowing them around and
handling the leaves more then once.

Looks good Lmf. I recently purchased the echo vac and love it. Makes getting leaves out of landscaping beds easy.

Put the lawn mower away. Got the snow blower ready, and the snow plow by the door ready to go. We have about 1 in. of snow on the ground with the forecast of 50 degree weather for Sunday. I plan on removing snow in two stages this coming winter. The first stage is the small amounts of snow I will plow it, then when we get blasted I will start using the snow blower.
