This pertains to an old 1996 Explorer. I had some issues with it not cranking and thanks to this forum I traced it to a bad seat switch which I bypassed for now. I wll order a new one.
NEW ISSUE. It starts and runs but does not sound right. On flat ground it is passable but on slight incline or load it does not hold RPM. After struggling all day to do the lawn I notice while I had the read bed flipped up and was emptying the cans it seemed to run better, when I dropped the tail it ran bad again. So I disconnected the switch on the rear bed and presto it runs like it should.
Any ideas?
