My guess is low oil and it overheated. I expanded it and then pressed it in. Kind of a weak design. I think it'll hold as long as I keep it properly lubed and unobstructed airway.
Who can identify this part found inside a B&S 19.5 engine from a JD LA105

Man i hope mine don't that , it was given to me sat in 3 ft of water during theflood in Sour lake .. i brought it home drained the oil/water mixture, sparyed some rust releae in the cylinders and turned the engine with the plugs out should have seen the water bugs and stuff came out off thet poor guy, hooked up my boat gas to it sprayed some etehr in the inle tline and watch Johnny go, ran rough but it took a while to line out, smoked white/ blue, balck and purple tank..:laughing
