Hello everyone. Herw is my issue. Have a 20HP white outdoor lawn mower. Been sitting outside for 2 summers. Got it in the garage. Put new battery and it started right up. Let it sit for 25 mins or so. Fired up the mowing deck mower for 30 sec and she died. Replaced the fuel filter. Spark plugs cleaned and test to get spark. Now it will only run on starting fluided. Any idea would be greatly appreciated

IF you want quality information that will not have you chasing your tail then you need to post the mower details off the ID tag + the engine details

As the starter fluid is working then the valves & ignition timing are OK so you are correct you have a fuel supply issue.
If the mower has a cut off solenoid in the carb that would be the No 1 candidate.
The plunger should retract quickly when energised
If it is sluggish or stuck a good spray with your starting fluid then working by hand will generally free it up.
Might need to do it a dozen or more times .

After that pull the fuel line off and crank the engine to check you have a strong fuel flow .

If the supply is good then it is off with the carb, pull it apart & give it a rubbdy dub dub
