Hey everyone!

Just got the blower on the tractor finally. Had to replace the drive belt, again. What brand does everyone recommend? Last one was Hero brand from princess auto.

Also wondering if anyone can identify this part? Found it in the carburetor area. But machine seems to run great.

Hmmm which Intek? Model and type off the rocker cover.

Ipl shows a V-twin. so it to be the 405777 series. At first it looks like the starter Bendix cap but that has a round hole. Need to see the other side,

and yes, confirmed 405777
 
I still say it is part of the starter Bendix. Items 2 and 4 with 3 and 8 missing. Although 8 could be on the starter or the one that was replaced.

well that sure looks like the part. I've never changed the starter on this rig, but maybe the last person did and it fell off into the engine bay when they swapped it or something.

Whats the part number I'm looking at in the diagram you provided? Thanks!
 
You to order the whole starter Bendix as it is not available separately new. PN 696541 and the C ring retainer [1051 be a bear to get off and on which why I brought the install tool [19435] which not cheap.
