What's up fellas? Trying to fix this D110 with a Briggs 33r8 77 0004 19hp single cylinder. The throttle linkage is ramming back and forth like crazy Is the governor broke? I thought a rod or valve was busted when I heard it the 1st time, but the valve cover is sealed on with gasket maker and before I check the valves,, I want everyone else's opinion.. I've got great compression and no leakdown. Carb is spotless and fuel pump good.
It is surging the 100% most common problem
Usually fixed by removing the carby then a full strip down with a proper clean .
When doing that you have a close look at what you find inside which can indicate bad fuel lines .
After that debris i the fuel tank blocking off the fuel supplu
Water in the fuel filter which does the same
Collapsed fuel lines
Blocked tank vent
