I saw this on a customer's tree, and don't know what it is. :anyone:

I was thinking it was made to prevent some type of animal from going UP the tree.

Why not just ask them? Hey what are them things you stuck in the tree?

They do look better than the tin foil some people put around the tree to keep a tree eating bug off the tree

Walk by at night and see if they are lights.
