I am going to go out on a limb and say the top two for 2013 are going to be the Snapper units sold at Walmart.

My guess for the top two would be the

Honda HRR216VKA @ $399 from HD
Toro Presonal Pace 20334 @ $399 from HD

I think there will be more homeowner buying those than anything else.

I will agree with you that Snappers are good mowers, but as Carscw said, I would get it from a dealer. Just curious, possum (and Carscw), what NEW Snapper mower is your favorite? The Ninja Mulcher? The Hi-Vac Bagger? The Commercial?

I thought this was about what lawnmowers would be top sellers Fanatic. That is why I chose Snapper. I do not own a Snapper nor would I buy one. My neighbor across the ally from me has two. They are very good lawnmowers for him. A good friend of mine has a rear engined rider by snapper, it is a very good mower for him as well. I have a real problem with forgive and forget. Thirty years ago I bought a brand new Snapper push mower. I had never ending problems with it and I still hold a grudge about it. That good friend tried to sell me his rear engined rider for a good price two years ago and I told him I would not use one for a bird roost much less a lawnmower. His feelings were hurt a bit. Snapper has good lawnmowers, but I will never own one.
