I am going to say not running it's not worth much because no one knows what is wrong. BUT I have seen at auctions mowers not running going for big money??? My neighbor has a John Deere Sabre not running (fire job) and for sale, he is asking 250 for it but also it has been sitting a long time in his front yard. So you never know unless you find the right person. Running I woud say it is well worth the 400 dollars.
