Is it just me or does no one else like moving wet leaves and stuff. This time or year is the worst for it.

I prefer them to be wet. No dust and they mulch so much better.

I am used to mowing wet grass....but I do have a limit. That being said, I mow wet grass every day in the summer, since I start at 7:30 (there is dew). Yes it can be annoying but you get used to it!

To me this time of year it doesn't really matter whether it is wet or dry. It's the spring and summer times where the grass is growing like crazy that makes it tough to get out early in the morning and fight the dew, however after a rain it seems not to be so bad as long as you're careful on the turf. The dew seems to keep everything packed together and the mowers will spit out clumps. I guess all mowers do this no matter what brand and the clumps can be removed with the leaf blower, but it's just irritating and time consuming that you have to do this. It just seems that with all the technology out there and all the testing these companies do that they would find a way to keep this from happening.

Not all mowers clump up the grass. Could be the blades you use or how you set the deck up and the big thing is trying to cut to much grass to fast.

I use OEM Exmark high lift blades. And the thing is it discharges clumps when you can barely tell the difference where you have cut and where you haven't. Do you have and suggestions?

Note: I do not like to even see any clippings left on the grass when I'm done. I like the just bagged look without bagging by means of side discharging. Also my definition of " clump " is any discharged grass that is not evenly dispersed out of the discharge chute. Whether the grass is packed tightly or loosely together I consider it a clump.

I think your just going to have to deal with the little chunks of grass that stick together. You can lift the deck up and cut a second time

Most of the time I just blow then apart. It works. The only thing that I dont like is that it sometimes takes away from a nice striped lawn.

I rarely have to do something to get rid of clumps, but if I did I would rather cut it a second time, and not use a blower since I like my stripes!
