Thank You. I've got a fastrak 54'' cut and its been a damn fine mower but I have about 4 acres that i mow every two weeks or so. Plus 3 more smaller yards. I want a Baddass upgrade. I've got 10 grand cash saved so far not looking to spend more than say 13- ish looking for kawasaki power, 60'' cut . Bottom line would i be happy with the super z ? and what deck. I would truly be thankful for y'alls opinion. Oh and might i find a better deal this winter.

There's nothing wrong with the Kawasaki FR Series engines.
[...]/QUOTE]
I have worked on a FR engine.
0NE.
Where what I have found is typical construction then it follows
ALL FR series are junk.
Simple fact.
No? Take your FR engine to a mechanical engineer and get their opinion
on that rocker cradle setup.
I'll bet my last buck you trade out faster than Roadrunner on steriods!
I am not going to get into a "slam Kawasaki" discussion, that's
not my style and not helpful to any new buyers.
Also, these small engine manufacturers copy each other.
It is highly likely other engines carry similar hallmarks of
fault/potential fault in the rocker construction.
The whole purpose of this site, and some others, is to review aspects
of design and operation, thousands look...few post.
I am addressing the lookers.
Look at what you are buying is what I am saying.
Some will STILL buy, those with outlooks as you project.
"Oh, he got unlucky"... I agree, out of hundreds of thousands(maybe)
I got the "Friday Engine". For the rest that silastic is likely going to
hold together while they own the ride.
Point is why rely on a monkey to wipe the 'correct' amount of
silastic in the 'correct' method as a guarantee your engine is good to
go for "life"?
The design of that rocker cradle mount is crap... tell me different.

I mean Kawasaki has to many motorcycle and mower engines on the market Residential and Commercial to condemn there designs and engines.
Kawasaki made two excellent engines.
The Mach 500 2 stroke "sceamer".
The "Kraka Four" 900 - their first 4cycle engine.
From there they built their base over Honda, took
them years to get a market after their entry, with crap.
