Not pulling your leg it really works.

P.S.
as funny as his post is I don't think that will fix anything on a mower.
Maybe some one will remove him.

Yeah, I try to post some humor from tiime to time to keep everything on the lighter side...but I did notice that user Ric(who is an Admin) had looked at his profile just don't know if his "violations", should we consider them that, warranted removal. Wish I was having a mid-life crisis(that would mean I'd live to be more than 120 years old:0)

If you have a coil that grounds out when it gets hot put it in the oven on 250 for about 2 hours let it cool and it will go to working again. Does not last forever but will last for awhile Many of the old mechanics have done this for years. A mechanic is not the same as a tech. (( cowboy up and get over it ))

Sounds kinda like the old remedy of putting an alkaline battery in the freezer to extend it's life when it starts showing less "power". I always considered that an urban legend. Sounds like your recommendation would at least give you some time to save up the money for a new one;0)

I never understood the battery thing you put a D battery in the freezer and it gives it new life but your car battery goes dead in the winter.

This thought has crossed my mind to. Turns out car batteries have a type of sYstem I forget which kind but its not the normal type. It can freeze and damage parts in the battery it takes a really low temp to freeze but it can. Also when this water gets cold it changes how electricity flows causing slower longer cranking time.

Not sure why small batteries last longer in the freezer but they so. My wife laughs because I leave a mag light in my freezer. Easy to find in case of blackout and will always be able to turn on

If you can just keep that mag light in your hand for more than a couple of minutes:0)
