Pull all rubber and plastic out of the carb. Let the solution just simmer boil for an hour. Really works on the older stubborn ones like the pulsa-jets and such.

Most ultra sonics don't get hot enough in my opinion. Most just get up to temp as the cleaning cycle comes to the end.

Which would a good reason not to do 2 cycle cubes as they have non removable rubber check valves.

Whatever be carefully of using heat. There are some parts that can be damaged by it.

OK HOLD THE PHONE!!! i just want to thank all of the great small engine techs and repair shops for all the info.!! being a 45+ yr retired auto mechanic, i can fully appreciate the influx of knowledge that can be had here just for the asking! as we all know, automobile engines are like small engines, as crackers are to ice cream!! thanks again for the support!!! my dad always said ( an old army mechanic) "There is no such thing as a stupid question" !!!

If you truly don't know answer and need an answer then no question is stupid even though the one being asked think so. My brother is a great example that think some questions are stupid just he knows the answer.

Sometimes just asking about things helps. I remember working a particular difficult calculator repair. I was about to give up for the day when the office work came over and asked what's that? Well it was exactly what I was looking for 20 minutes, just took someone to refocus my attention.

It was mention here on this site a while back that they used a product called Awesome All Purpose Cleaner in their UC but I have yet to try it myself.
