Troy-Bilt 4-Cycle Gasoline Trimmer

I have a model TB475SS trimmer. The upper shaft broke. I replaced it, but it still will not work. The recoil pulley is hard to pull out, but it will recoil. Is something in a bind? Should I replace something else?

Check your instillation, it sounds as tho the shaft you replaced is bound up or not properly seated...
