Trouble with my Vanguard Twin

How's the project going? Any updates?
Based on what was said here, I think the EFI pump (#593890) is really worth a look. Since you only swapped the lift pump, the main EFI pump could still be the one starving the engine under load. That would explain why it runs fine at first but falls apart the second you put any stress on it. I actually found an aftermarket replacement for that pump out there at a much better price. Not sure if this is what you want. Might be worth checking before heading to the dealer.

Yes! Got the new backordered HP pump from Jack's this afternoon and I got it installed just in time to mow my now fairly overgrown 4 acres by dark... Full send and she ran like.a champ... and I pushed it hard. Never missed a beat. I do believe it is good to go! I sure do appreciate all the advice and suggestions! THANKS ALL!
 
Air, fuel, spark at the correct time and compression. Most of the time these are fuel related issues. Glad she is running again.
