The Radio Shack guys are riding the Custom Madone 700 series team editions. With the up graded Di2/srm groupo they only cost $15,151.99 each and each team member has like 5 or 6 bikes set up to ride along with a Time Trial Bike. The Frame set weighs 725 grams.

Although I owned two mountain bikes I was never a fan of trail riding and such but with my Trek 5200 I was right at home, loved those 50 and 60 mile rides on Saturdays.

I have a 1999 Trek 5200 with the USPS team paint job. I don't actually ride that bike very often -- I just use it for special occasions like centuries, etc. It's neat to get on it since it's so much faster than my mountain bike or any of my city bikes.

Mountain biking has never caught on as a spectator sport but it's a lot of fun. I ride mine almost every weekend.

Im out 3-4 times a week depending on work and family.
I do one race a year in october so its training time.

I do road to keep fit but get bored easily where i find mountain biking exciting.

But then iv got friends who prefer road as they go in a group.

I have a mountain bike but do more road / rail-trail riding than mountain biking. I have a Trek 820, it now has 6 lights on it!

In the picture below, the super bright light is from the headlight of a car.

I'm right with you on the value of good lighting -- including using multiple lights.

The technology has improved so much in the last five years or so.

I actually do more city riding than anything else (which is road -- very bumpy roads here in Atlanta  ) -- but I enjoy off-road the most.

Im in middle of all these trail centres. 7stanes - 7stanes Mountain Biking Scotland l Mountain bike trails l Borders l Dumfries and Galloway

3 are 15 mins away and the rest upto an hour.

Dont be fooled by the lovely photos. We have had a bit of rain recently and its a swamp but high pressure from over your way is pushing across to give us some heat for a change.

Does anyone use Strava app when out biking?

Those trails look great based on the photos.

I've never heard of that app but Google Maps on my smartphone is handy -- I no longer need a separate GPS device when I ride in remote areas.
