only in chatter. Most people are unaware that the solution to getting rid of hazardous waste in California often involves contractors who take it across the border to Mexico, Utah, or Arizona. https://calmatters.org/environment/2023/01/california-toxic-waste-dumped-arizona-utah/The actual tool isn't that expensive. Add a battery and charger, the total price more than doubles. Low IQ politicians have no business mandating such foolishness. Do they even think about the disposal of all of those spent batteries?
A CalMatters investigation finds that environmentally stringent California sends nearly half its toxic waste across its borders, often to states with weaker rules. One of the biggest out-of-state dumpers: the state’s own hazardous waste watchdog.
