I have a 10 year old Z5035 Timecutter model # 74376 that has preformed flawlessly. Recently the left/right turns have started to become more strained (as if a drive belt was slipping). The turning becomes much more labored when I am at a stop or going slow more so that if I am moving a few MPH. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

When was the last time you changed the drive belts and checked the idler pulleys? Depending on usage, belts should be changed every 3-5 years and pulleys checked every year.

Thank you very much. That was the initial direction I was heading.....

Update, taking Rivets advise, I replaced the drive belt, two pulleys and the idler arm tension spring. The Timecutter now drives around like it did when it was brand new. Thank you again Rivets for taking the time to respond to my initial question.....

Glad to hear you’re bad in business.
