could slow down rpm and make the engine work to hard. could also hurt the grass, make ruts, mud spots

Won't hurt the mower but is not the best for the turf ...

i mow my grass alot when its wet so it don't hurt the machine but like said its not good for the grass i have some spots because of it

ive always heard mowing wet grass can cause grass to disease.

I'll bet it doesn't do much for the grass collection either. I'd never do that to any mower.
