C10 Diff

On about my 8th attempt, i got the ring gear backlash within spec.
Now, I have to check the contact patch between ring gear and pinion.
Wonder what the chances are that it will be good???
Even IF it is good, the whole shebang has to come back apart to installate the pinion crush sleeve, recheck and hope all is well.

Then, swap brake backing plates, pressure wash, paint and re-install.

On about my 8th attempt, i got the ring gear backlash within spec.

Well one of these days ya might get a chance to breeze thru it, and find out how to repair that squeaky passenger door hinge or that vibrating noise in the dashboard, that turns out to be a loose ash-tray mounting bracket.. :laughing:..:laughing:

This race was a DESTRUCTION DERBY ... least NO injuries, except Chase got a sore shoulder, and lots of guys have injured ego's all in all still a good race, CONGRATS to my Polish power POLOK !! Truex had the faster car but Brad got all the breaks, win # 500 for Team Penske !! ... :thumbsup:..:thumbsup:..:thumbsup:..:thumbsup:..:thumbsup:

Yup. Congratulations to the 2 car and driver.
I got disgusted when Stenhouse hit the wall.
Last straw for me on this one....
They just never seem to have a clean finish...........once there are 20 laps to go, the drivers start thinking with their stick shifters..........
