Wow.... I feel so bad by giving Bobby Ford the wrong info for his short block...... I wish he would of gave us more info are a pic on his mower to start with....

He was agreeing on a engine in another picture..... Kicking myself in the butt............

You were a lot nicer to him than I would have been. You gave him the best information you could give considering the bad information he gave you.

Thanks Purvis that makes me a percent better than I did earlier......

You know there are at least 6 of us on here that own shops and do this for a living..... Or good side money and have over 30 years under our belts........

Sometimes I jump the gun and I admit it when I do....... But I just ordered 600 bux of parts from Power Distributors the other day.... I can use the short block in the future though and I told him that.... Hope he holds on to it......

Bottom line is that you did some research that he was either incapable of or unwilling to do himself. You made a recommendation, which, to use an analogy, is no different than a bird dog going on point. From then on, it's the hunter's responsibility to verify that the point is indeed good.
