Weather
Weather - Ayup, we got weather all right! Yesterday wasn't bad, temps got up into the low 20's but it was clear and allowed us to salt and sand the drive so people could get up and down our driveway without slipping off into the bay! The ice storm we had on the 23rd started at 18*F, with snow and then turned into rain by noon, but the air temp didn't even get up to 30*F until late afternoon. Still we didn't get enough ice to cause major power outages. We never lost our power, but a large maple limb broke off and fell into the yard about 20-feet from the house.
I first woke up this morning at 4AM and all was quiet so I went back to sleep. By 5 AM the wind was howling and I expect the winter storm warning we've been under has turned into a real winter storm. They say we may get as much as 14" before it blows out sometime tonight. Only time will tell...
So we have snow for Christmas! You can't beat that, right?
