YEP !! I did the same, tried that "Slime" schitt , waste of money, and a mess, I bought one of those tire changing tools at Harbor Fright , thing works GREAT ! BUT needs to be mounted on something SOLID !!

The bead breaker appears to be effective. Breaking the bead has been the most
tiresome portion of the process for me.
I was waiting for the guy in the video to flip the tire/rim over and remove the back side bead to the outside of the rim,
leaving the wheel inside the tire casing with both beads outside of the rim.....
That woulda been pretty funny.......

When I do a difficult assembly, I put a big bolt thru the hub and clamp the shebang on the bench vise.

Right,
Just the man I was looking for.
Is there anything on , in or with it that would indicate where they are made in China ?
They are not imported into OZ and HF do not sell into OZ and if they did it would cost over $ 100 in freight.
So bugsey here has been looking for the factory that makes the, to see if I can import a crate of them.

OK Mr. Bert, I did a lil diggin and came up with this stuff, YOU will have to do some work on the puter, you know by looking at the ENTIRE page and scrolling ( all the way down in some cases, you can find what may be helpful,) these are all links ...I hope you can find what you are looking for there IS the names of the manufacturers in CHINA, SORRY but my $#@&%$## puter is having a hissy-fit ( ALL day- EVERY-day) so I did NOT try find an exact address for them but a man of your determination should have no problem with THAT legwork !

Wellll Ron, all I know is that it's the fastest, easiest way I've found to handle these tires, I got lucky and bought it with a 25% off coupon, ( usually available close to a holiday, ) NO MATTER .. it's worth every cent in MY book !
There are several you-tube's on it, was trying to locate the one where the guy really knows his schitt, and just rips right through it , but ..... :thumbdown:

Yep thats me. And 40 pounds heaver. Through all this crap I have been going through I have lost 40 pounds. So something good has come from all of this crap. There is a silver lining in everything if you just know where to look. By the way I am finally feeling back to normal. Everything has clearded my system. .And I mean everything

I guess you didn't have to go into parts research, and diggin through n "drillin-down" in your Navy Manuals, Tech. manuals, Illustrated Parts Breakdowns, T.C.T.O.s and all the Tech. pubs like us Fly-Boys had to, I probably spent 2 years of my 4 year hitch, reading and deciphering all the jargon, in those damn things .. course I did learn from a SUPER book-worm that I got put on my crew for just that purpose, yep ... sometimes, this Polok can be a lil crafty too ! ..:thumbsup:..:laughing:..:laughing:
