Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

What LED fixtures did you use in the garage overhead? Just regular troffers with the new LED tube lights that look like T-8 fluorescent lamps? I haven't found anywhere I can buy those 'right'.

TODAY'S official Estimate

The official estimate of views for today is 103,777.

Now I have to work on the slight increase that has been experienced each day and work that in..

The average increase in views each day comes out to 334, but if I multiply that times the 31 remaining days I get over 10K and that can't be right. Well, it IS right, but isn't that already figured in when I use the running daily average? I guess I'll stick with what I've got. Math never was my strong suite..

It keeps niggling at me.. Somehow there has to be a way of computing the daily average increase in views, which the running average isn't taking into consideration and then adding that in.. One of you guys have to be better at math than I am - (More than likely ALL you guys are better at math than I am!) - how about an explanation???

The Oldest Troy-Bilt

I can't remember what year this old girl was manufactured, but it is the older of the two that I repowered. This older version uses a reversing drive wheel that has tapered edges that fit down into a standard pulley when you push the lever up into the reverse position. It works, but isn't as quiet in operation as the newer model that used a flat hard rubber wrapped wheel that in turn contacts another flat wheel instead of a pulley.

It's been repowered with a Predator 6.5 HP engine and has two new Kevlar drive belts. All cleaned up and ready for resale.. Any buyers?

Doc!! Holy crap those buggers are expensive!! To achieve the same lighting level I currently have in my shop I'd have to buy almost $2,900 worth of them! All my present fixtures are 4-foot, three or four-lamp troffers that my company removed from stores or wherever during lighting upgrades, that I then removed the old T-12 lamps and magnetic ballasts from and then installed one new electronic ballast and new T-8 lamps in. Total cost? Around $30. per fixture.

I guess I'll hang on to them just a bit longer..
