I THOUGHT a troll was a person posting false info. in trying to engage folks into an altercation of some type with false or accusatory statements, Not so sure after Bert's post ...:confused2: No matter, I think most of us know how to deal with it, If I see several in a row I just check the posters PROFILE page, to see when they joined and if they posted anything pertaining to MOWERS, OR related fields of such, ( much like our thread... UT OH ..did I say that ..???? ) ..:laughing: ..:laughing: ..:laughing:

a Troll is someone on forums or chats that comes in with the intent to undermine the conversation and cause fights between members either directly or indirectly

Our FORUM , WAS ... MTD Forum, Our THREAD WAS ..MTD YardmanTransaxle Rebuild ,.. NOW, we are in the NEW Forum, Transaxles and Transmissions, but the THREAD , MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild is the same, ....I think !! ..:laughing: ..:laughing: The SITE we are all on is known as (lawnmowerforum.com) ....NOT to be CONFUSED with (mylawnmowerforum.com) ..:confused2: ..:laughing:

Mower repair/reassembly completed post #80, the last post on page #8.
Great job, Roger B......
From there, as threads often do, it took on a life of its own (well, several lives I guess....)
I just couldn't believe that any repair would require so many posts............

I just couldn't believe that any repair would require so many posts............

Actually Ron, If you follow the posts, you will see that a few of us got together and added some "off the wall" comments and (sort-of) Hi-Jacked the thread, NOT the Forum, just the thread, soon a few more guys jumped in, and it's been on a roll ever since, we sorta have a non-descript anything within the forum limits B/S man-cave style retreat !! We intend NO harm or danger to anyone other than ourselves, and THAT is ALWAYS out of "terms of endearment" , you would have to read ALMOST every page to understand we are just a bunch of mechanical minded guys sharing info and having fun helping others and enjoying ourselves doing it, so JUMP IN , if you feel inclined to do so, All we ask for is the deeds to ALL your properties, titles to ALL owned vehicles, every cent in ALL your bank accounts/stocks/bonds etc. AND of course EVERY mower you got !! ..:laughing: ..:laughing: ..:laughing: (see what I mean ?? )

I have learned many things here and enjoy the banter.
Most of the members are very helpful and willing to share their knowledge.
I am more than willing to respond in kind with what little I know.
I do, sometimes, allow a tad of sarcasm escape.........
