That's why I usually ban the IP address too. Wont stop everyone but will stop most pests. Most times they just on to other pastures.

Well actually Star he has been tossed.
In place of responding to the post, it should be treated the same way as general spam.
Reported and hopefully deleted along with the account.
That way the poster gets no satisfaction by seeing they have made people angry or offended.
