Surging

I have a Briggs & Stratton 675 Series. I had a new Carburetor installed on it and its still surging. What else can cause it to surge?

Surging is lack of fuel or too much air after the fuel was added.
Take the blower housing off & check that the manifold tube is tight ( don't usually come loose ) and has no cracks in it ( very common ) .
Also check that the O rings that seal the carb to the engine are in good condition .

Could of over torqued the carb mounting bolts causing vacuum leaks. Filthy fuel tank and or deteriorating fuel lines. Chinese carb alert!!

Clean the OEM carb. Looking clean and BEING CLEAN internally are two totally different animals. Think hospital clean.

Need both the model, type, and date code numbers from the engine plus the part number of the carburetor installed.

Thank you very much. The Manifold tube was cracked. It runs fine now.
