SUPER Z OR DC

Hey guys, I'm looking at the super z with a 72" deck and the 37hp kaw. I've got about 17 acres to mow and it's a little rough, am I making a good choice? I'm down to this or the Dixie Chopper classic with a 60" deck and a 31 hp Generac. thanx for your opinions. tj

With 17 acres to mow ... You will appreciate the Largest deck you can get...
That extra foot of mowing will help get the job done faster... simply going faster will not help on a rough area... :smile:KennyV

PS... if you want to get it mowed a LOT faster, check my listing in the new classified fourm... http://www.lawnmowerforum.com/priva...4500-range-wing-wichita-kansas-$5000-obo.html

Even if deck size wasn't a concern, I would still go with a Hustler.

I would check out Ventrac with 17 acres sounds like you could use a tractor with many uses. Ruff or uneven ground 60" reg deck up to a 84" batwing deck, scrape blades dirt scopes, and more.

If I had the $$$$$$ I would go with that, also, but a ZTR is cheaper.

If you want a single purpose machine for flat ground get the ZTR. But the Ventrac is not much more then a good commercial ZTR.

Just over 20000.00 with 72" deck, 3 point hitch, 3n1 adapter, duals, and front and rear 12 volt porwer. You can buy a demo unit for a discounted price with little to no hours.

WOW...so a ZTR would be a bit cheaper, running around 15000.00 for a super commercial model.

The ZTR'S I have seen were about 17500 and up with a 72" deck. But for versatility I would pay more.

True...the ZTR's I was looking at don't have that big of a deck.
