Some more photos would be good.
The lower belt in the photo is wrecked, it has rolled over and is running back to front.
As to the difference in tensioning,it will depend upon which way the engage disengage mechanism works
Generally you engage by pushing in as this increases the arch of contact.
For that you use a flat pulley pushing on the back of the belt
Belts invert when the pulleys are a long way out of alignment
Now what I see in your photos is not a Park Pro but a Compact.
They have totally different pulley & belt set ups.

I have great problems with Stiga parts down here as they change distributors more often than we change prime ministers.
Each new distributor refuses to offer any support for previous models so it is a real bun fight to get parts let alone service information.
Also the model names seem to be more than a little ambigious
Note that in the Pro diagrams you posted, the tensioner pulls the belts out & had a V idler pulley
In the Compact the idler pushes so is a Flat pulley.
Your belt looks way too long
