Star Knob Handlebar Conversion to Quick Release

Have been a happy HRX owner for several years

Want to know if I can change out the old star style knobs on the handlebars to the quick release version for easier storage?

I couldn't find any information regarding this conversion in the current threads shown

They interchange.
It is an option for the dealers to upsell when they mower is new
Thread is 8 x 1.25 metric and a good lock nut is essential.
