There is a bar at the rear of my zero turn. Is there any reason that I couldn't sleep and anything up on its rear? It would make it easy to change the blades and clean underneath the deck.

snapper riders(or at least mine was) are designed to do that.. but the oil fill tube is in the back of the mower to allow it.

Then I would look at your owners manual, it will state if it is possible to do it, if no mention then I would not.

Assuming that I cannot… What is the best way to get under there? Car ramps?
alot of people hang their tractor up with a tow rope connected to the rafters of the ceiling in their garage. ive never done it, ive always used ramps or a jack and jack stands. just an idea
Were I not have replaced my Snapper with one that does not need a jack... (the deck slides out) I would have bought this. That being said I used my floor jack all the time to raise my snapper up to change the blades etc...
Or you can try this one from Harbor Freight for $99 (less with a 20% off coupon). I bought one, and it works very well and is pretty secure.. I looked at the MoJack also, but like the HF one better. It uses a foot operated hydraulic jack which takes just a few pumps to raise it. They both seem to be of equal quality and are rated for 300#'s.
