I have a Simplicity 7010 model # 1690204 with a 42 inch cutting deck.

I am in need of belt that goes from pto on left side of machine to the drive pully

on top of cutting deck. Also could use the belt diagram to install this belt.

Go to Simplicity, drop your model number in and download the parts & owners books.

Belt is an A 74.5 but by now there should be enough wear in the pulleys to fit a standard 74" belt.

Use a OEM belt or you will have all kinds of problem.

Is there something really special about this model Simplicity ?
I have only worked on Broadmores and they took std section kevlar mower belts without any troubles apart from having to go down one size to compensate for wear on the deck.
The only belts I have come across that can not successfully swapped are the short depth variable sheave belts, and then it only seems MTD ones that give trouble.

Problems solved, I found OEM belt number which is 2176439 for anyone with a Simplicity 7010 Landlord 1975 or so

This for the pto to mower deck top pulley.:biggrin:
