it aint pretty....the motor looks like its from ww2:laughing:....but the motor fires on the first pull and has great compression....there was an old massive oil leak at one time...but no signs any more...it had to been rebuilt....and it drives in gear with no noises....but the blade puts out quite a vibration...it has a weird blade...im wondering if a different blade would smooth it out....i dont what year it is....theres a safety sticker that says it complies with 1986 standard....but the manual with it is 1996

From the pictures it doesn't look bad at all. Nothing a good cleaning and paint job won't fix. What in the world is that thing bolted to the blade. Was that added or was the blade made that way? New blade/blades will be a cheap fix. You must be looking all the time for mowers to buy???

Motorcycles, Just got into them myself the last 7 years. Started with a 750 Hondamatic but didn't like the automatic transmission sold it and bought a HD sportster. I also have two Honda 50cc scooters and two ATV's. Being retired I ride the bikes almost every day. I sure wish I had more room to collect more bikes but my buildings are full of tractors and all my other toys. Just what do you have for motorcycles and what do you ride.

HARLEY's are too rich for my blood....but i had a 1976 Superglide once.....my daily bike is a '98 Kawasaki ZX11...[the worlds fastest production bike for 8 years]......plus 1980 Kawasaki kz1000....1983 Kawasaki zn1100....1984 zn700....1985 Yamaha xt350...1990 YAMAHA XT600....1985 Kawasaki 900 Eliminator...1990 YAMAHA FJ1200..[one of the best bikes ever made]....the rest are parts bikes.....Sportsters are great bikes..if i had one ..id get the big tank on it.....i now have to stick to sport type bikes because i broke my neck [c6-C5]and back [ L4/L5--L5/S1] last year and have to lean forward when i ride.....................i just got back from THE SNAPPER dealer who is second generation..and he told me everything about this rig.......the vibration problem is a worn out blade...so i got a new one [$18]...some new foot grip pads and a shift knob....it should be Snapping again soon!.............p.s. ....you were right....the blade wings [ which are for bagging ] are bolted on...they were so worn ....you couldnt even see what they were!.............also i found out its an '88
