I've got this old blower I like a lot. I was rebuilding the carburetor and I broke part of it :ashamed:
The part is called a purge valve assembly... and it's NLA. I'm hoping somebody who reads this had an EB45 and adapted another carb to work. And remembers which carb it was ;)

I might be wrong but im sure you could cross reff that carb to an updated application, take it to your local small engine shop and they might be able to do so.im sure they used that same carb for yrs and on trimmers too

Post all of the numbers off of the carb,
any mower/saw shop can get the part from Walbro easily....

Appreciate the help but been there, done that etc.
I want to point out that I'm pretty resourceful and self sufficient. I don't ask for help or advice unless I really have exhausted all other possibilities but I understand you get a lot of people that aren't like this.
I'm getting emails back now... "sorry but we don't have that part...it's NLA from the manufacturer and will remove it from our site now"
Walbro tell me this:
You may contact our largest Central Warehouse Distributor, V.E. Petersen Co. at info@vepetersen.com or call them at 800-537-6212. I can稚 promise they値l have any inventory of this air purge assembly but if anyone is going to have any it will be V.E. Petersen Co.

Thank- you

Dang, I was actually digging around for Luis's business card, I usually talk with him at the Expo in Louisville every fall.

Put up some pics of your whole carb, with a little work, you could put a different model carb on it, might have to swap the throttle shaft or something, but it can be done.

I'm thinking that's my best bet. Or find a purge valve assembly that matches up. They can't all be that different. They purge air from the lines and prime the carb through the bulb right? I'm thinking that if the mounting holes line up and it has the little ball bearing check valve (don't they all?) that any assy that fits should work.
I'll get some pics soon. Going to be busy with another project today.
Building a cat house. No, not that kind ;)

Actually, it does not "prime" the carb, but pulls fuel through the carb, sends the excess back to the tank, and "purges" all of the air out of the carb for easier starting with the choke.
