The process is similar to burnishing new brake pads on a vehicle. However, the Ogura clutch brake doesn’t use a friction material. The braking process is a metal on metal system. The burnishing process for the clutch brake is turning the pto on and off several times at engine speeds lower than operating speed. Scag may tell you not to for warranty reasons. Personally, I would do it.
