Export threadThe kit will fit the RZT-S42, S46 & S50. I installed my kit (only took a few minutes) and it solved the problem.
I too find this mower unbelievable!![/Q thanks its cheaper to order it myself and fix it then take it back to dealer under warranty, im gonna order the kit thank you again
When I called MTD about the problem, technical support advised that only the dealer could obtain this under warranty. I was not about to pay for something that was a design flaw on a machine that was only a few weeks old. My dealer ordered the kit under warranty at no cost to them (or me) and yours should do the same.
Once the kit arrived, I picked it up and installed it myself.

Got my kit! All fixed no more burns thanks again! I also put in extreme blades Wow what a difference!
