I'm a Road Captain + Membership Officer for the Tuscarawas Chapter of the HOG club. The ride I was leading yesterday is called an Old Goat Ride. I do it every month on a Wednsday afternoon and it's a short 50-60 mile lunch ride with mostly retirees. Oldest rider to show up gets lunch on me and an Old Goat patch for his vest. Current rides are a 2012 Road King (Porker) and a 1999 Sportster 883 (Piglet).

I have more like the Piglet. 2006 XL883C . Wouldn't own anything but, love the bike. Sound like a fun ride

Yup, Sporty is a great bike. Back when I started ridin in 1970 the Angels wouldn't ride anything but a Sporty. But, gettin old now + ride mostly 2-up so appreciate the comfort + luggage capacity of the RK. Still, when I wanna terrorize the hills + twisties in my area, I'm on the Sporty.

Pulled the fuel pump + vac hose off the tractor today + washed them both out w/kerosene. reinstalled + runs like a champ. Well, it did until the steering fell apart. Put it away for now, not in the mood to work on it anymore today. Thanx for all the help!!!
