I would say, if you spent enough money on your mower and there is a high risk of something happening, then yes they are very much worth it. However, I would try for a cheaper option first like putting it inside a garage or barn; anything to keep people from stealing it.

I don't think I'll ever understand why people steal them and how lol. It makes no sense to me.
