Replacement Spindle assembly for Craftsmen 42 Inch Rider

I am having the most difficulty finding a replacement or compatible replacement for spindles for a Craftsmen ZTS7000 Model 107.280060 42" riding lawn mower.
Has anyone had experience finding one of these? Sears says they are discontinued, and I would prefer not to rebuild them.

Might want to try doing a google search for part number 1735573YP. Plenty out there. Unless you have a very good reason for not wanting to rebuild it, spindles are about as simple as it comes to rebuild.

Never was available as a complete spindle from Briggs. Individual parts only.

But there is a few after markets out there.

I guess I was looking for a comparable part. Would I be able to to rebuild with a different mandrel. Specifically a 6 point star?
