I have a toro 22 personal pace mod. 20333 with two belts and the drive belt i can't seem to be able to figure out how to get it positioned oon the pulley without taken off motor mounts??? Help
I'm in the same boat as this guy was. I could use some pointers about what you said. How much is the torque on that flywheel? Will I see the aligning pins after I pull the flywheel off. Any other tips you can give me will be very appreciated. I'm 75 and I use this mower for jobs.I should be able to fully change both belts in an hour and a half. That being said, I posted that I would not recommend the average mechanic attempt this job. I've probably changed over 100 units and it can be very tricky reassembling the clutch and drive systems, without running into problems. Proper torquing of the clutch flywheel, without pinching the belts or shearing the aligning pins, is the most difficult part. Again, I do not recommend you attempt this repair on your own. You could very easily end up with the unit in the shop, replacing more parts. Read my signature.

I hope you get back to speed soon. I'm in a similar situation. My autoimmune got kicked last June and I got Polymyalgia-Rheumatica. By July, I was non functional and couldn't bend my fingers. I've been on chemo and steroids since then but still feel like I'm over 100. Thanks for responding.I’m sorry but trying to explain the different parts of doing this job is not something I can do anymore. I’m also well north of 70 and trying to remember all the different steps, without having a unit in front of me, does not work any more. I can picture the procedure, but when I try to explain what needs to be done will leave too many holes in my explanation. On top of that, I’m just out of the hospital, after a bout of septus in my abdominal cavity, six months of recovery. Lost 30 lbs of weight and energy level is below 00000. Good luck, sorry I’m not much help.
