Simplicity 1693601. When I turn the steering wheel all the way to the right I am unable to return the wheels to straight. If I turn steering wheel it just clicks and no movement from the front wheels. If I manually turn the front tires to the left the steering will "catch" and turn normally with the steering wheel all the way to the left. Only problem is when I turn all the way to the right. I see there is a steering gear and a gear on the bottom of the steering wheel shaft. Is it advised to replace both? Thank you!

Export threadMost times they are worn to the point that if you don’t replace both at the same time you’re being penny wise pound foolish. I would also replace both bushings.
