Have you factored in the cost per Gb of a 5G download.
Short ones can be very cheap but long ones can get real expensive and a full movie is a much bigger download than on a DVD.

Get Firestick and load Kodi on it. It's easy to do on your own, very simple. When I initially cut the cord I bought a pre loaded one. Big mistake, it was loaded with a bunch of junk, most the memory was used up, and it ran slow. I ended up doing a factory reset and starting from scratch on my own. https://www.firesticktricks.com/install-kodi-on-fire-stick.html is a great source, he has videos and guides on how to install a lot of different apps.
