Are push mowers with the Kohler engine a good buy? Wallmart has them at a fair price, and I'm looking to get away from a Briggs engine. Also, how does Kohler compare to Honda in the push-mower department?
Personally I would stay away from any push mower with a Kohler. I'm a toro guy and that includes the Toro model with the Kohler engine. Too many problems, that I'm not about to get into.

There is a very good reason why a Honda push mower can cost more than a lot of rubbish ride ons.
They are the only mower built to quality schedule and not to be $ 2 cheaper than the competition.
The only down side is quality materials used in section sizes thick enough to have enough strength to last for 20 years means they are not light.
