If it is made by Simplicity it should have a simplicity type model number on the ID plate as shown here https://www.simplicitymfg.com/na/en_us/support/manuals.html
So dfbroxy may have been on the right track when he suggested taking it to a Simplicity dealer.
IF it has an ID tag of that type, post a picture of it on the forum so we can track it down.
None of these machines are particularly complicated.
If you can fix one you can fix them all, just don't talk to me about diesels unless they are mechanically controlled.
