Nice nothing would make your day more then that. I use the trimmer trap racks, i can't imagine that they are made to much different but now I'm kinda skeptical about racking my trimmers. I'm sure it's a matter of time before i break one. I guess it's the price we pay for convenience.

I use chunks of 2x4 with one side has a circle hole from a hole saw... One next to engine and one next to head workable great

I wonder if having them mounted near the back of the trailer allows to much shock and vibration to go through the trimmers when hitting bumps in the road. My thinking is that if its mounted towards the front, having that pivot point at the trailer hitch, plus the suspensions on the trailer and the rear of the truck help to absorb more of the shock and vibration vs having them mounted at the rear where its going to take more shock and vibration because all you have in front of them is the trailer suspension? I could be way off too, I'm just guessing.

You are correct, that is the problem.

Those boxes are expensive thats awesome you scored those for free.

My neighbor has let them set outside for like 5years there is a little rust on the tops of them and a few spots on the inside nothing o can't grind and paint. The doors and locks work great
