Wow that is great. :thumbsup: Please show more pics of the baler with the door open. Did you design and build it yourself and how much do you have in it?

I built it myself. There are additional pictures of it on here in my album if I can figure out how to get them here. I built it mostly out so scrap so I have very little in it. The biggest expense I have in it is a piece of 3/4" rod and four lock collars for the wheels. Two hinges for the door and two latches and a few bolts and screws...... It works great but it is a little time consuming to use.

I had a much harder time getting a rake to work than I did the baler. I started off trying to build a tow behind rake on wheels. I tried various ways but was never satisfied. Finally I built the one mounted on the front end and man it works great. It will rake pine straw as clean as a hand rake.
I am also have a horizontal baler that I built to make mini straw bales for decoration. 8" X9" X18". I am strongly considering building a Pine straw baler that makes bales 12" X 13" X 26" which is about the size of this one pictured. I am even considering either an air cylinder or a 12 volt actuator to compress the bales. Not there yet though.

It would easily bale hay, however I don' have a need for it and in the Summer we are too busy cutting grass to take time out to lay with it.

Here in the south people use Pinestraw to mulch beds in their yards. It does a great job and is very popular. It will bring $4 to $6 a bale. Normally I can sell all I can get. Most times I can get it free and some times people will actually pay you to get it up plus you can then have the straw to sell. Plus some times you can turn around and get paid to lay it in other people's beds. I actually lost a deal 2 weeks ago to lay 50 bales because I did not have the straw and could not get it.
