I have a B&S Twin V engine Model 543477-0144-E1 .... Code 06072612 .. It has an oil leak causing oil to collect on the horizontal flat area between the cylinders and below the intake manifold where the B&S fuel pump is located. My tractor has its own fuel pump so that the B&S fuel pump mounted on the engine is not being used supply gasoline to the engine ... I had a local engine shop work on stopping the leak .... but after a short time running when the engine got hot, the oil leak returned ... There appear to have been tube(s)? attached to the B&S fuel pump ... maybe a breather tube and or a vacuum tube ... that are now missing ... I would appreciate any thoughts that could explain what is going on and how to fix it ...

Yes it appears to be a breather line that attaches to the fuel pump to provide impulses to operate the pump. That line can be plugged off as long it Ys off to the carb/intake.

A couple of pictures would be helpful. Lots of parts are no longer available for this engine through a couple of parts sources checked.
